Centrobanca adopted algorithmicpath, the algorithmic trading solution by GATElab
 
GATElab, the technology and development laboratory of GATE Tecnologie Informatiche, providing banks and financial institutions with a complete buy-side and sell-side suite of products with algorithmic support, is pleased to announce that Centrobanca, the Corporate and Investment Bank of the UBI Bank Group, has successfully proven algorithmicpath, the GATElab Algorithmic Trading Solution.

GATElab's since 2007, uses algorithmicpath in conjunction with traderpath, GATElab's multi-asset cross-market platform providing trading and EMS capabilities, thus achieving the optimal performance. algorithmicpath can process high volumes of fast-moving market data from several sources and take action in the markets just within milliseconds.

Designed as a fully-resilient scalable service,
algorithmicpath provides a high-level user interface to create/modify strategies, monitor their execution and tune parameters on-the-fly when market conditions change, thus giving utmost flexibility and control to end users.

traderpath EMS is now certified for brokering activities on Thomson AutEx
 
Customers using the Thomson AutEx Order Routing platform are now able to interact with their brokers/markets through the traderpath Execution Management System (EMS) developed by GATElab, which has just been certified by Thomson Financial. Thanks to such integration, made possible by the fixpath Sell-Side module implementing the FIX 4.2 protocol, dealers accessing the Thomson circuit, one of the leading Order Routing Messaging services in the world, will be able to send and manage orders to the GATEMate platform of their preferred broker in a easy, safe and timely manner.

GATElab now provides connectivity to LSE-TradeElect platform for Italian and worldwide Banks
 
GATElab, the provider of traderpath, the leading technology platform for multi asset market-making and price-taking activities, with a state-of-the-art algorithmic support, announces the availability of TradElect-InfoElect connectivity for Italian and worldwide Institutions in the financial industry.

Following the on-going merging of Borsa Italiana with the London Stock Exchange (LSE), the MTA Italian cash equity market will migrate onto the LSE TradeElect-InfoElect platform in phase one, targeted for September 2008. Other MTA segments and Italian markets will be migrated in subsequent phases.

Now all Italian and foreign
GATElab customers, as well as Italian and UK financial institutions, will benefit from the new connectivity to TradeElect-InfoElect, made available within GATElab's traderpath.

Therefore
traderpath, delivered either as an in-house solution or as a real ASP service, can now transparently drive its users along the whole integration path between the two exchanges, providing them with a trading access to one of the biggest groups in terms of listed equities and ETFs, securitised derivatives and fixed income assets.
