GATElab has been founded in 1989 with only private capital investing. Its head office is located in Isernia. Up until the 90’s, GATElab has matured its know-how by offering projection and consultancy services, using fine tuned skills in many areas, such as: finance, marketing and risk evaluation for credit granting.

This allowed on one side to mature remarkable applicative knowledge in the dealt areas and integrate them to those technological ones, the company’s historical patrimony, on the other side to develop, starting from the end of the ’90s, technologically advanced products with strongly attractive application characteristics from the Italian financial and banking scenario.

Thus GATElab, during the last years, has experienced exponential growth within their client-partners and consequently an increase in its revenue and overall profits.

GATElab management team never lacked energy and spirit of enterprise, as shown in the last years by the opening (in 2000) of its Milan's sales office, to which it has been entrusted the task to close follow the relationships with the most important Banking and Financial Groups in the Italian scenario.

Subsequently (in 2001) the company increased its share capital, in order to support either the wished increase of the firm or to make forehead to investments in the development of new and innovative applications.

The trend that followed up such initiatives has been definitely positive so that, to 31st December 2002 inclusive, GATElab gained € 2.141.000 in invoicing with a 28,5% increase in comparison with the previous year.

In the following four-year period (2003-2007), in spite of the financial markets contingent situation, GATElab has been able to consolidate its revenue and balance the books with a profit, making new professional products for manual and algorithmic trading, quoting, hedging and pricing.

During the first months of year 2008 GATElab landed at the foreign financial market, thanks to the opening of its London office, in the throbbing heart of the City. And, following the investemnt setforth and its expansion plan on the foreign markets, in May 2008 the GATElab ltd has been opened.

GATElab è stata fondato nel 1989 con il solo investimento di capitali privati. La sua sede principale è situata ad Isernia. Fino agli anni ‘90, GATElab ha maturato il proprio know-how offrendo servizi progettuali e consulenziali, utilizzando skill di elevato livello in molte aree, quali: finanza, marketing e valutazione del rischio per la concessione del credito.

Ciò ha permesso da un lato di mettere a frutto notevoli conoscenze applicative nelle aree trattate e di integrarle a quelle tecnologiche, patrimonio storico della società, dall’altro di sviluppare, a partire dalla fine degli anni ’90, prodotti tecnologicamente avanzati con caratteristiche applicative fortemente appetibili dal panorama finanziario e bancario italiano.

Pertanto, negli ultimi anni, GATElab ha visto crescere in modo esponenziale il numero dei propri clienti-partner, con conseguente aumento del fatturato e del personale coinvolto.

L'attivismo e lo spirito d'iniziativa non sono mai mancati al management team di GATElab, come dimostrato negli ultimi anni dall'aperture (nel 2000) della sede commerciale di Milano, a cui è stato affidato il compito di seguire da vicino i rapporti con i maggiori Gruppi Bancari e Finanziari del panorama italiano.

A ciò ha fatto seguito (nel 2001) l'incremento del capitale sociale, allo scopo di poter supportare la crescita desiderata della struttura ed altresì far fronte ad investimenti nel settore della ricerca per lo sviluppo di nuove ed innovative applicazioni.

Il trend che ha fatto seguito a tali iniziative è stato decisamente positivo così che, al 31 dicembre 2002, GATElab ha ottenuto un fatturato d'esercizio di € 2.141.000, facendo registrare un incremento del 28,5% rispetto all'anno precedente.

Nel quadriennio successivo (2003-2006), nonostante la situazione contingente dei mercati finanziari, GATElab è riuscita a consolidare il fatturato ed a chiudere i propri bilanci in attivo, rendendo disponibili nuovi prodotti professionali per il trading manuale ed algoritmico, quoting, hedging e pricing.

Nel corso dei primi mesi del 2007 GATElab è approdata anche sul mercato finanziario estero, grazie all'apertura del suo ufficio di Londra, nel cuore pulsante della City. E nel Maggio 2008, è stata creata GATElab ltd per dare seguito ai piani di investimento decisi per perseguire la sua crescita estera.
